Dr. Schrader is an Arlington, TX native, and a 3rd generation Red Raider. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in 1986. During his undergraduate years Dr. Schrader worked as an Athletic Trainer with the Red Raider football and track teams and, began his dental education and career working as a dental laboratory technician in Lubbock in 1985. He graduated from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center Dental School at San Antonio in 1992. He has been in private practice in Austin since 1993 and joined the Grimes Team in April of 2010. Dr. Schrader also serves as a Clinical Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio Dental School in the Department of Dental Diagnostic Science and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Odontology.
His interests outside of the office include golf, yard work, singing, and all things Texas Tech. His chair side manner contributes to the relaxing environment he strives to create in the office as well as contributing to the patient's understanding of dental procedures that are needed.
