COVID-19 Information

March 20, 2020

Dear Patients, Friends and Family of Drs. Grimes and Mathur’s Dental Office,

With the recent concerns regarding COVID-19, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone elective dental care until further notice. Those with a dental emergency will continue to be seen. In accordance with the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Protection (CDC), it is crucial to prioritize urgent and emergency visits, while postponing routine dental care such as dental cleanings, fillings and/or crowns. Our patients’ and employees’ safety are our number one priority, and we will continue to keep you updated with new information as it becomes available.
If you do have a scheduled appointment, a team member at our office will be reaching out to you to reschedule. For all emergency dental concerns, please call us at 806-794-9953. If you do have a dental emergency, we respectively ask that you consider the following:

• Do you or anyone in your household or immediate family have a fever or have had fever in the past 14 days?
• Have you or anyone in your household or immediate family experienced a recent onset of respiratory problems, such as a cough, sore throat, or difficulty breathing in the past 14 days?
• Have you or anyone in your household or immediate family, within the last 14 days, travelled to any hotspot areas of COVID-19? Have you or anyone close to traveled by plane?
• Have you or anyone in your household or immediate family come in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?

Postponing elective dental procedures also reduces demand on medical supplies such as filtration masks and disposable gloves. Americans are working together to help our fellow citizens.

We will continue to pray for everyone and those who are directly affected by this virus. We will persevere and we can’t wait to get back to serving the West Texas community!

Stay safe and God Bless,

Dr. Robert Grimes & Dr. Rohit Mathur
